Number of Children In U.S. Foster Care Continues to Increase
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services released the Adoption and Foster Care Analysis and Reporting System (AFCARS) data for fiscal year 2017. The data shows an increase in the number of children in foster care for each of the last five years.
